My life story

My name is Christopher everyone calls me big chris. I am 21 years old I stay in Baton Rouge I’m biracial mixed with black and Chinese I have two beautiful kids. I dropped out of school my junior year and started selling drugs I felt like there wasn’t a purpose for me to be in school because I wasn’t very smart like other kids. I’m also currently living with my grandma Delma she is 65 years old and stay in a wonderful apartment with my brother josh.
My parents died in a car crash in 2004 that was the worst time of my life. I never thought it would come to a day my parents had to die so i really started to get on the block and sell drugs with my older two brothers. My mom and dad would have never wanted this life for me but I dropped out of school so I can not get a decent job or apartment. My kids are who motivates me I want them to have a better life in this cruel world. I’m trying to make enough money for me and them to start a new and better life. I want to go back to school and get my G.E.D so I can get a good job.

Selling drugs is not what I wanted to do but I have to so I can provide a better life for my family. So many people have been killed on this block because of drugs like one of my older brothers his name is Deon. He was shot and killed two months ago a bad drug deal had gone wrong I was so upset I wanted to find the person and kill them. Then recently my grandma just revealed she had cancer and is dieing I can’t keep living this crazy lifestyle I had to change for the better so now I am currently trying my G.E.D. I stopped being on the block and selling drugs my two kids stay with me now and we are living a wonderful life.
